GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD;
HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!
Greetings everyone!
This has been one interesting summer to say the least. We are a month behind of our original plans to return to Mexico. But, every day we are one day closer! :)

We are anxious to get back. With the passing of Pastor Luis, there will be a lot to do and new opportunities for many. I look forward to that, but at the same time, I'll miss him so much! A HUMONGOUS THANK YOU to all of you who have expressed your love to Luis' family, his wife and kids. You have been very generous and such a blessing to them!

If you have followed us for any time, you know that the heart of our ministry is to Raise Up Leaders in Rural Mexico. This unfortunate circumstance has provided an opportunity for us to continue with that purpose and now with an emotional practical application, our message of always having someone to fill your shoes speaks loudly.

Also, this summer brought another surprise as our stateside missions organization, Alternative Missions, is closing their non-profit ministry status. The first verse I read after the news of this was Isaiah 41:13 which says, "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." WOW! How appropriate! I have reminded myself of that verse time after time as many questions arise.

Thank you so much to all of you who have made the transition of our personal support from Alternative Missions to Mission Dispatch. Geña and I were excited to meet the Directors of Mission Dispatch this past month. What a blessing they are!

Many of you have been giving directly to the ministry in Cofradia which we are very grateful for. Some friends of ours at Family Renewal Ministries have been so gracious in allowing us to continue to receive those funds through them. Here is information on how to make those contributions. Be sure to designate gifts for Cofradía and the Pastor or Ministry it should be directed to. THANK YOU!

In the meantime, we are hesitantly moving forward to start our own non-profit organization for Cofradía United.

One last thing that is not as big, but has required some change for us is the donation of a Motor Home we will use while we are in the states. We will store it in Arizona...somewhere, and drive across the border from there. We have sold our Tundra and bought a vehicle that can be towed.

God is so good! He loves His children and takes care of them. He holds their right hand (Is. 41:13) as they walk through unknown, dark places. He will never leave us, nor forsake us (Heb. 13:5). He wants the best for us (Jer. 29:11)!
PASTORS' PERSPECTIVES
Some of you support our local and regional pastors. Every 6 months, I ask them to write a report from their perspective and what's going on in their areas. See what they have to say here.

Quick Look into more of our Ministry
This month, will you please pray for...
  • Good health and protection as people are recovering from COVID in Cofradía.
  • Pastor Luis' wife and family as they work through their "new normal" without him.
  • Wisdom when we return to Cofradía as we work out details in our ministry due to Pastor Luis' death.
  • Wisdom as we move forward with our own non-profit organization in the states.
  • Continued prayer for those whom we've been ministering to in general, pray for...
  • ...a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the true knowledge of God for all the believers here. So the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened that we may know the hope of our calling, the riches of His inheritance in us, His immeasurable power in us, and the supremacy of Christ's authority over all things. (Eph 1)
  • ...the ability to entrust to reliable and faithful believers the things we have learned so they will be capable and qualified to teach others as we Raise Up Leaders in Rural Mexico. (2 Tim 2)
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever!

WE LOVE YOU ALL!!

Thank you so much for being part of our team as we work together to RAISE UP LEADERS IN RURAL MEXICO!!!!
