2012 Reunion Update

The 36th Annual ANRS & Rodeo Exes Reunion plans are coming right along. Below you will see a tentative schedule of events, along with hotel information. We are also looking for auction items. If you have something you'd like to donate to the auction, please contact a board member A.S.A.P. We've already got some great items lined up, so don't miss out on this opportunity to showcase your business or support the Association. 2012 Hotel  Accommodations

We understand some of you are having trouble finding a room for a reunion. Our dear friend, Karen Brown emailed us with the following information about additional housing information. Thanks so much Karen for all your help this Spring! Rooms are available on campus in the newer complex, Lobo village. They are 2 bedroom suites with living areas/kitchenette and bathroom. Only downside may be the single beds. You may contact the Director of Residential Living, Mark Chaszar (432-837-8189 or via email at or the Secretary for Residential Living, Clare Ritzi (432-837-8190 or via email at The cost is $30 per person, per day. The cost doesn't't include linens but arrangements can be made, as needed.

2012 Elections

The Association Executive Board consists of four Officers and an eight person Board of Directors. The Executive Board is elected by the general membership of the Association at the annual Reunion.

No Executive Board member, nor any Association member, receives any compensation for their work in promoting the activities of the Association.

If you are interested on serving on the Board, or know someone who is, please contact Sally or Michelle by July 15, 2012 so we can get your name on the ballot.

2011 Golf Tourney

Be sure and pack your clubs as the golf tourney is is set and ready to go! Same time,same place. The Board is finalizing the details, but as it stands, the tourney will be a 4 person scramble, handicaps given before play, blind draw for teams. Keep an eye out for next month's newsletter with the finalized details.

2012 Reunion Events

  • Social: 6:00 p.m. - Alpine Country Club
  • Poker Tournament: 7:30 p.m.
  • Roping: 8:00 a.m. - ANRS Arena
    - To rope in the Exes roping, you must be a SRSU graduate (per the definitions described on the website) and an Association member in good standing.
  • Annual Business Meeting:  12:00 p.m. - ANRS Arena
  • Dance with the Shades:  8:00 p.m. - Midnight - Alpine Country Club
  • Auction: During the dance at the Alpine Country Club
  • Golf Tournament:  8:00 a.m. - Alpine Country Club

2012 Donors

The 2012 Donor Tiers have been updated to reflect in-kind gifts. All donations will be recognized in all Reunion advertising, Facebook page, website, and post-Reunion newsletters. Signage for any donations over $250 with Name and Business will be posted at events during the Reunion. Donor buckles will be given to those donors contributing $3,000 or more.
