Join writer Anthony J. Quinn on an adventure to create and bring a hero to life. Writing workshops for 9years+

You can submit your final story to Anthony for feedback (first 15 children only)

Irish Writers Centre have announced details of their Cill Rialaig Residency
Opportunity for 7 writers over a 10day period in October 2020.

Cavan Wild Storytelling Nature and Landscape

Anthony J.Quinn has created six online workshops for adults on writing about nature and landscape. 
You can also submit your final work to Anthony for feedback.

Dreamscape Art Trail on Turbet Island Offically opened

Project Belturbet, Dotti Was a Deer (Jackie O'Neill), the men's shed and the Celtic Fairy Door Collection combined their forces to create an outdoor art gallery housed on the beautiful Turbet island in Belturbet town. It is now open to the public and is free of charge to view. Perfect for a family day out, children and adults alike will love the lillustrated bird boxes and fairies hanging from the trees. 


Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, Cllr Sarah O'Reilly at Cootehill Library for the launch of Responding to Lockdown - An Artist Perspective 

Exhibition running from 16 to 29 July, Cootehill, Co Cavan and available digitally.



Artist Colette Kearney worked with Project Belturbet to transform the carpark in Belturbet with a beautiful mural of the old railway station.

Applications for the Arts Council of Ireland Festivals Investment Scheme, for festivals taking place between January – June 2021, will close in next week.
