Áine Cahill at Cavan County Museum
Cavan's rising star Áine recently performed at Glastonbury, where BBC Music nominated her show as one of the festival's best. A FREE courtesy bus will bring punters from Cavan to Ballyjamesduff and back, leaving Cavan Courthouse at 7.30pm sharp. Booking essential. Read more
Boat trip to Clough Oughter Castle
Enjoy a short boat trip from the shore of Lough Oughter to the Island. Members of Killeshandra Comhaltas lead by Enda McDermott, banjo, will play tunes as you hear of heroic deeds, bravery and poison!
A complimentary bus will leave the Courthouse, Cavan at 6pm sharp and will return at 8.30pm. The tour can be joined at the lake but places must be pre-booked. This trip is weather dependent.

Culture Night at Townhall Cavan
A screening of Konik Artists' animation 'Broken Tale', the premiere of new Phil Doherty Play 'Dad in the Kitchen', a play about Francis Sheehy Skeffington and a Midnight House Party are just some of the events in store at Townhall from 4pm.
As part of Culture Night 2016, Cois Tine, a self-contained residential studio space located on the old Farnham Estate, will hold an open studio on Friday, 16th September to launch its artists’ residencies for 2016-2017.
