Ballyjamesduff Community Crèche wishes to recruit an experienced artist / facilitator to carry out community consultation and creative engagement during the first stage of Building Peace through the Arts project.

The population of Ballyjamesduff has increased significantly in recent years which have led to tensions related to integration and diversity.  The remit of the facilitator and/or artist will be to creatively engage with community groups and individuals of different ages and cultural backgrounds to celebrate the cultural diversity in Ballyjamesduff.

The project seeks to engage participants and deal with particularly sensitive / challenging issues in relation to sectarianism and racism. We welcome bids from collaborating artists and peace building facilitators.

Closing date:  Friday, 21st February 2014.  For further details call Savina Donohoe on 049 8544070 or click here.
