Please pray for our family as we seek to manage the stress of seeking out new partners in ministry and the unpredictability of the upcoming transition back to Hungary. Please pray especially for good sleep.

Audio Update Transcript:
We are trying something new and, you guys, I am so excited about this. I’ve even lain awake at night thinking about it. Ok, that was only fifteen minutes that one night, but you get the idea. Anyway, in our quest to forge a meaningful connection between your life and what is happening in our family and at the International Christian School of Budapest we are ready to take things to the next level – adding a regular audio component, or podcast.
Our goals in adding a regular audio format are to offer a more personal connection through voice and to make it convenient for more people to stay engaged. I’ve been listening to podcasts (basically radio shows) for years. Hearing the familiar voices of my favorite podcasters (my “imaginary friends”) in my ear buds as I jogged around our new neighborhood in Budapest was reassuring and meaningful. I felt connected to them and want to offer you the same link to our life in Budapest. Also, some people don’t have the time or desire to read emails or scroll facebook, but do have time to listen to a less-than-ten minute podcast while commuting, working out, getting gas, cooking, etc.
Why are we going to all this extra trouble to provide multiple ways to keep you up to date? Well, we view you as genuine, indispensable partners in ministry to Third-Culture Kids and as such you deserve to be up to date and, well, actually feel like partners. Up-to-date information is what you would expect in any business venture and you should expect the same caliber of communication from your missionaries. We are always thinking about different ways to leverage newer media forms to enhance this communication.
Some things will stay the same. We will be including current prayer requests and the same basic information in both formats. We still strive to respect your time so we will still be sending the same bite-sized email updates and the audio updates will be just around 10 minutes long. A print version of the update can be found below our photo so only the layout will change for those of you that prefer to stick with print. We will continue to include videos occasionally so you don’t want to unsubscribe from the email format.
Going forward, you will find a link at the top of each Snapshot and Story Update to the audio file and you will also be able to subscribe to our updates on iTunes and Stitcher if you want our updates to show up in the queue on your mobile device or desktop computer. You can find us in these places as “Go, Kelleys. Go!”. We hope you will give listening a try and let us know what you think!
