A Snapshot and Story from the Kelleys serving in Hungary!

Road trip 2016 was one for the record books, at least as far as our family is concerned. It was a privilege to meet and chat with many of you! Here is a recap of our trip by the numbers.

We traveled 3,706 miles round trip through six states including Wyoming
We talked with approximately 170 people about ministry to Third-Culture Kids
We were on the road for 19 days
We each slept in 7 different beds, including one stay in a skilled nursing facility
6 small groups invited us to share
4 practical, yet unattractive compression socks
3 churches made time for us to speak
2 family reunions
And our longest stay was in 1 sweet camper.

This trip was a big adventure for our family, but whenever we pack up our projector and hit the road it is with purpose. Our main job on home assignment is to share with as many people as we can about ministry to TCKs as part of the mission of God. As we do that we are praying that God will call prayer and financial partners to join us in that ministry. When we are fully funded, we can return to the International Christian School of Budapest (ICSB) and get back to doing what we love.

We currently have 67% of the financial pledges we need. We must have 100% of the pledges in order to return to Hungary and ICSB. Please pray about your partnership with us in ministry to TCKs. We are praying for financial partners that will join the team with a monthly, quarterly and annual pledge, for any amount.

We are looking for people who are willing to gather groups of about 4-12 friends to have a great time learning about ministry to TCKs at ICSB. This is a fun, low-key, one-time game event that will last less than two hours.

Pray With Us

Praise God with us for a safe and productive trip! We didn't have any health issues. Please pray with us that God will continue working in the hearts and minds of the many people we talked with.

Please continue to pray with us for responses from people willing to host small group game nights. Our ability to meet new people and raise the support we need to return to ICSB depends largely on these groups. We trust God will provide what we need when we need it.We ask that God would help us to communicate in both boldness and humility.

Thank you for praying for our home-school routine. We are finding a rhythm that works for our family. We can always use prayers for eager minds and positive attitudes.
