Postgraduate study can give you a chance to really help out your mob and make a deadly difference in your community, as well as provide you with a competitive edge in the jobs market.  According to a 2011 Graduate Careers Australia study, the median full-time salary for people with a postgraduate qualification is $15,000-$20,000 higher than for those with an undergraduate degree alone,  making postgraduate study a sound investment for your community, your family and your career.   Postgraduate study can also lead to a different career, as you pursue a different subject area to your initial degree choice.  Finally, postgraduate study can also be about simply indulging your love of learning and new knowledge.

To hear more about Indigenous Postgraduate programs at QUT, please join the QUT Dean of Research, the Director of the National Indigenous Research and Knowledges Network (NIRAKN) and other QUT staff Friday 8th of November 2013 and discover the opportunity for Indigenous post graduate study in South East Queensland.

Lunch will be provided so please RSVP for catering numbers by COB Tuesday 29th October 2013. If you have Indigenous friends or family that may be interested in attending this Postgraduate information session please feel free to add them to your RSVP.
