Quotations on spring
I want to do to you what spring does with the cherry trees.
Pablo Neruda, 1904-1973, Chilean poet-diplomat and politician.

Spring, the sweet spring, is the year’s pleasant king,
Then blooms each thing, then maids dance in a ring,
Cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do sing:
Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!

Thomas Nash, 1567 – c1601 , English playwright, poet, and satirist.

* Spring is sprung, the grass is riz.
I wonder where the boidie is.
They say the boidie’s on the wing.
But that’s absoid. The wing is on the bird.

Mel Schwarz discusses how to break what seems to be an intractable argument.  Good ideas and advice here as usual from Dr Schwarz.

No evidence to back idea of learning styles
... say 29 professors and doctors (including Steven Pinker).  Well, that’s going to seriously hack off a lot of trainers.  My view:  don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.
