ADR on the International Stage

ADR is quickly climbing on the international stage. Examine the latest legislation, trends, and dispute resolution methods in Europe and the Asia-Pacific Region. 

Professor Giuseppe De Palo, Director of JAMS International and President of the Rome-based ADR Center (a member of JAMS International), will offer a presentation on the current surge in the European mediation market and provide the information American practitioners need to navigate the myriad of mediation legislation currently in force in different EU Member States. 

Cedric Chao, Co-Chair of the Morrison & Foerster international litigation and arbitration practice, will discuss issues at the forefront of ADR in the Asia-Pacific Region, including evolving challenges, regional and cultural differences in approach to ADR, and effective methods of dispute resolution.
