Fondazione CRT presented today in Turin the new redevelopment project of Officine Grandi Riparazioni ferroviarie.
The OGR in Turin are one of the last vestiges of the industrial history of the city. The new intended use project includes a large exhibition center of Contemporary Art, Performing Art, Concerts, Training Employment, Innovation and Culinary Arts.
The brand identity that studio FM milano designed for OGR Torino is built starting from the original vocation of the building: a place through which, in the 800's, the city has laid the foundation for its future.
Two parallel lines, two tracks, the railway points, create the acronym OGR and define the visual language of the entire project, starting with the icons system for the signage within the building.
The tracks are also a strong connection symbol of exploration of different places, just as the OGR: starting point for a journey through cultural innovation, technology and taste.
The OGR-Officine Grandi Riparazioni will open to the public on September 30th.
