A “thank you” is always welcome.  If you have not taken time lately to thank someone then you are missing a very good way to create rapport; help someone feel good and help relieve stress in your own life.  Sharing a thank you with someone reduces stress.  It is a feel good thing to do and feeling good reduces stress.  Here are some quick and easy ways to say thank you.
A hand written note – people save these for years because you took the time to say thank you in writing.
An email with graphics you can get from the internet with funny pictures or balloons or big smiles.  All age levels appreciate a funny thank you.
Slip a note under the windshield wiper of your co-workers car and say thanks for the great report; project; being on time; help with a tough client.
Write a note to the boss of a service provider to say how good the service was.
In addition to the tip on the credit card slip, write a thank you for the meal and/or service.
Teachers, cross walk guards, security guards, receptionists, secretaries, bosses, travel agents, dentists, everyone needs and appreciates a thank you.
