Communicating to get to an important outcome or decision sometimes feels hard. It can especially produce a reluctance to communicate because you consider the conversation to be difficult. Let me provide you with some all-time favorite coaching questions (and questions I use to create clarity for myself) when you want to create clarity, immediacy, rapport and results that are successful.
Ask – what would be valuable for you to know about this (difficult) situation?
What would be an important outcome as a result of our meeting?  Conversation?
What information do you think would be good for me to know, for you to know?
What issues are you facing that you think I can support you on?
What aspects of this situation are frustrating for you?
How can I help to remove any blocks to this issue and/or to help with productivity; clarity; accountability; clarity; success?
