~There's a new big thing happening on BuffaloGolfer. Two years ago, Mo' Golf released his rankings list (see below) of the best courses in Buffalo-Niagara. Last year, our viewers voted for the best area holes by number. In 2013, it's your turn to give us your own, personal list. Give us your best 1st, 2nd, all the way to 18th holes in Buffalo-Niagara. Smash this link to learn how you do.

~The WNYPGA junior tour, under the sponsorship banner of ANAdeeds of Clarence, took a breather last weekend with one event, on Saturday in East Amherst. Read results from Transit Valley here.

BDGA's Old-Fashioned Championship
Match Play is less common these days, which probably indicates why people cry out for its return. The BDGA ignited its 2013 season with the Match Play Invitational at Niagara Falls country club. Click here to catch up.
Boring Isn't Boring
We always want what we currently don't have. Boring, penetrating iron shots are common on the professional tours, because they are consistent and spin a lot. Tom Tucker says that you can emulate these shots in your own game. Catch the bore here.
Section VI Championship
Balls are flying at Diamond Hawk as high school golfers vie for 1 of 9 spots on the Section VI team that will represent Buffalo-Niagara in the NYSPHSAA golf championships in June at Cornell University. If you're near the airport, catch the action. If not, read this preview and return later for results.

First "Your Best 18"
Leon Smith, a stellar local golfer, leads off the inning with his best 18 holes in Buffalo-Niagara. Niagara includes Ontario, but only close to the border. He has some interesting choices, fo' shizzle. Commentary by Mo' Golf follows the list.
Interview w/BDGA Match Play Winner Michael Carrig
Michael Carrig defeated Dan Yustin on Saturday to open the 2013 BDGA season. Carrig defeated 4 opponents on his way to the final. The 18-hole championship match ended in Carrig's favor, 3 & 2. Here's an interview with the champion.
WNY PGA Club Pro Events
The WNY PGA Assistants Association matched drivers and putters last Friday at Brookfield. Liam Freedman, participant in last year's Golf Channel Big Break series, led the field with 73. Click on for story and results.
