  • To be in the running for prizes, you need to be a WH member & attend all 3 events and run in the same category for all 3.
  • Youth membership (including High school & Uni students) is free.
  • This event uses a different numbering system to the "School League Series". New Juniors will need to have a Webscorer number.

Waimea Harriers – the running and walking club for everyone!

For more than 50 years Waimea Harriers has been encouraging running and walking for people of all ages.

We believe running is wonderful for people's fitness and general health! Our motto is 'Run for your life!'

Waimea Harrier events cater for people of all abilities, including competitive runners and walkers, families looking for an outdoor activity they can enjoy together, and social runners and walkers of all ages.

Our members come from Atawhai to Tapawera to Takaka.

After most of our events, participants meet at a nearby pub to socialise. For new members this is a great time to get to know one another, share stories about the run or walk they've just done, and build new friendships.

We pride ourselves on the warm welcome we give to everyone.

We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event!

Tamsin (Waimea Harriers Club President)
