Inspired by bike-friendly far-flung locales
In the same month in which London, England announced its $1.4 billion bike plan, we at dandy sought even more Euro-inspiration from former dandy editor Rachel Hahn, now living and working in Älmhult, Sweden, home of IKEA. You can read about her biketopian dandyCommute here.
Do you have a dandyCommute story to tell from Toronto or elsewhere? Fill out this dandy form here to get you started. All dandyCommute contributors will be entered into a draw to win a bike.
We also started a new dandyREVIEW book review series, with readings of Eat, Sleep, Ride, City Cycling and Straphanger.

A Focus On: Kensington Market
Our Bike Spotting team hung out near Augusta and Baldwin on Friday, March 8 -- one of the first relatively warm and sunny afternoons of the year -- to see how people's chains were faring after a long, cold winter. This was a follow up to our first dandyMECHANICS column: the Chain, written by Sweet Pete's manager Owen Gerrard and illustrated by Chris Simonen. We will post dandyMECHANICS part two: the derailleur shortly so stay tuned!
As part of our ongoing dandyCommute series, dandy contributor Tim Woods cycled home through the Market and introduced us to some of his favourite haunts (and alley ways.)
