Thanks to a generous grant from the Allegheny County Medical Society, we have been able to improve our database to make it useful to how we need it. It is very important to have all of our files collected in this way so that we can tell the story of Jeremiah's Place's impact to the community. We are excited to share the following infographic as a representation of the reach we have had in our community!
This April, join Jeremiah's Place as we celebrate...

Spring is a time of celebration for us at Jeremiah’s Place. We have many things to be proud of and much more to look forward to as we head into April, May and June! In April, we celebrate our birthday and recognize the month of the young child. We also acknowledge the important lens on child abuse awareness in our community.
We have worked hard to be a critical resource for families in crisis since we opened our doors in 2014! Over the past four years, we have provided crisis care for over 650 children and worked with over 250 families. We have built solid partnerships with community agencies and have joined forces with a host of funders, donors, volunteers, staff and friends that help us do this important work. The founders and board work tirelessly to ensure that the mission, vision and values of Jeremiah’s Place remain at the heart of our work.
As Pittsburgh’s ONLY crisis nursery, we have an enormous responsibility to be a safe haven for children and to reach and empower families. We understand the need for trauma-informed, family-focused care and we know the importance of standing in the gap for children and families in need. This is our work. This is our mission. This is our goal. We hope that you will stand with us as we continue to be a resource that works to protect children, strengthen families and transform communities.
