Conclusions and Recommendations 

The last Session of the Open Session starts at 11.00 CET

The last session of our Special Edition focuses on two main topics. Forecasting of socioeconomic consequences of FAST diseases and capacities to overcome increased risk, with keynote speakers Dr Rushton Professor of Animal Health and Food Systems Economics, University of Liverpool, Dr Jemberu Phd Student, College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, University of Gondar and Dr Berthe, Senior Livestock Specialist, World Bank Group. Followed by Resilience of livestock sector to FAST diseases with keynote speakers Prof Gibbens, former CVO-UK, and Dr du Marchie Sarvaas Executive Director of Health for Animals. The session will be Chaired by Dr Ferrari from the EuFMD Standing Technical Committee. Prof Wood will open the session by summarizing the previous meetings of the Open Session. The event will end with a roundtable debate open to all.
