Dear <<First Name>>,
Happy new year! 2014 started with me traveling to the annual Boston AFib Symposium (held this year in Orlando, FL) and writing my first reports (see below). I also made two side trips to visit with EPs and observe ablations in each of their EP lab (see photos of me in srubs!). It was thrilling to be on the other side of the catheter!
Be sure to check the nifty "Recently Publsihed" list. We have several new Personal Expeience stories and new articles. Email me with your comments.

2014 Boston A-Fib Symposium: My First Reports

The 19th Annual Boston AFib Symposium (BAFS) was held January 9-11, 2014 in Orlando FL. My first report is '2014 BAFS Overview';  the second report,  'Live Via Satellite: Seven Ablation Cases' is a summary of the live ablation procedures and the surrounding discussions. Wonder why Steve attends the BAFS each year, read 'Why the BAFS is Important to Patients'.

Coping With the Fear and Anxiety of Atrial Fibrillation

A-Fib can wreak havoc with your head as much as your heart. Anxiety, fear and worry. Recent research indicates that “psychological distress” worsens A-Fib. Read "Six Ways to Cope with Your A-Fib Fear and Anxiety".
