Upcoming VT WIN Events
Our next NNE WIN Webinar will be on “Investing Without Waiting for Exits” with discussion and Q&A post webinar.  We’ll join with our New England WIN groups on February 4, 2020 via Zoom link.  The vast majority of angel investment structures today rely on the portfolio company's exit (or sale) for investor returns.  Join us to hear about alternatives that break out of this paradigm with structures for investing that include revenue-, dividend-, and royalty-based structures used around the world today.  These approaches have the potential to make sound investment opportunities out of ventures that were previously considered "un-investable."  Webinar Speaker: Luni Libes, Investor's Circle, Fledge.  Plan to arrive at 5pm for networking, the webinar begins at 5:30pm and we’ll go until 7pm or so.  VT WIN participants will gather at the conference room at the Flexible Capital Fund’s office, 3 Pitkin Court, Suite 301E, Montpelier, VT and watch the webinar together.

Our February meeting will be on February 20, 2020 from 5:15 – 7:00pm, and will include VT WIN co-founder, Laury Saligman, discussing ways for new accredited investors to take their first steps towards investing.  She will highlight some of the networks and learn-by-doing funds, such as Next Wave Impact Fund, Golden Seeds, and Pipeline Angels that provide support and team approach for investing in high quality, women-led companies that are making a positive impact.  And, as always, we’ll leave time for open topics about what’s on your mind related to impact investing and investing in women owned businesses.  Location is yet to be determined, but will be in central Vermont.
