Sure did!
We are open for first-come-first-served shopping with a maximum of 2 customers in the store at any one time. See the end of this email for our current hours and other details.

That's right, we're having a sale -
Saturday, 9/26, from 10am-4pm.

And because this question inevitably comes up whenever we have a sale or event of some sort... no, Yarns in the Farms is not closing.

It happens sometimes that yarn that we think is wonderful when we order it doesn't wind up selling all that well and who's to say why that is. There are all sorts of reasons why yarns might languish on our shelves.

Maybe nobody is sure what to do with it or the colors aren't soft/vibrant enough (yes, both of those things can be true at once) or we love it because it's wooly or soft as can be and that's not what anyone is looking for at the moment.

The other thing that happens is we get down to a smaller selection of a favorite yarn and the remaining skeins sit there waiting for someone to notice and fall in love with them.

You all know how small our space is, we don't really have room for items that aren't selling and it's time for them to move to good homes. Our need to clear out some inventory is your gain!

Why this weekend? We've been doing some heavy duty fall/winter planning and ordering and things are beginning to arrive. We need to make some space on our shelves and have some revenue to pay the bills for all the wonderful new yarns we have in the queue for you all!

Now you'd probably like to know what we're planning for Saturday...

Here are the details:
- discounts on great yarns from 10-30% off
- clearance yarns at 40-60% off
- yarns in every weight, fingering to bulky
- cashmere on sale (yes, you read that right!)
- sale prices will be valid in store and online
- indoor/outdoor setup like on LYS Day to aid in physical distancing and (hopefully) speed up wait times

Among the yarns that will be on sale:
Fibre Co. Tundra
Rowan Valley Tweed
Dream in Color Classy
Cardiff Cashmere Classic

Check your queue, think about your holiday knitting list (if you have one), and come see us on Saturday!

As a reminder, our online shop is open 24-7-365 and we are still shipping orders via USPS and doing curbside pickups.
Can't make it to the shop during our open hours? Shop online and we can put your order in our drop box outside so you can pick it up at your convenience!

The newest issue of Pom Pom Magazine has arrived! Issue 34: Autumn 2020 (Ravelry link) was guest edited by Ocean Rose and revolves around the theme of "Home".

You can order your copy in our online store here or stop in to the shop to pick one up.

Berroco's Project(s) of the Week is back!
(All of the links in this section will take you to Berroco's website or an email template to reach out to us.)

This week's two sweaters - one pullover, one cardigan - are both knit and require between 3 and 5 balls of Ultra Wool Fine to complete.

Meet Elta, a top-down pullover with a pretty little lace detail in the yoke - written for bust sizes from 34" to 58".

And here's Kalona, a bottom-up, open front cardigan with a touch of lace at the hem and cuffs - written for bust sizes from 35.5" to 58.5".

How about Ultra Wool Fine? The same superwash, 100% wool yarn you've come to know through its 3 siblings (DK, Worsted, and Chunky) in a fingering weight that will work up into a lightweight, warm garment. At $12/ball, it's a steal and the colors are great!

See one you'd love to make? Click on the photo or name to see all the details and figure out which size you'd like to make, how much yarn you'll need, and what color you want to use. Then send us an email with all the details and we'll be in touch to process your payment and place the order direct with Berroco.

Remember, they ship these projects straight to your door with everything you need except the needles. There is a $7 shipping fee added for these two projects.
