The time has come!
As of Tuesday, June 16th, we are reopen with appointment-based shopping.
Want to schedule a time to come shop with us? Visit the 'Calendar' on our website to choose a slot.
Did you miss our email about our reopening plans? You can find it HERE.
Our webshop remains open 24-7 and we are still doing curbside pickup and shipping via USPS.
That's right! Three different ways you can get your yarn from Yarns in the Farms.

We are re-open(ish)!
Yes, we know that -ish is strange but these are strange times, aren't they?

Summer is hands down our slowest season so we are limiting the days we are open and the times we can offer - Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-4pm and Saturdays 10am -4 pm. Choose an appointment time using our online 'Calendar' or give us a call and we can tell you what's available.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through figuring out our new normal in this re-engineered way of doing business.
We can't wait to see you!

Want to come shop but don't know what to make? Our friends at The Fibre Co. sent over some great pattern ideas for their Luma yarn the other day!

Glykos - by Dawn Henderson

Purl Strings - by Heidi Kirrmaier
(This one would be great in Zooey from Juniper Moon Farm, too!)

Pressing Herbs Top - by Amanda Corvello Designs

One Sweater DK - by Becky Baker

Luma is a great yarn to knit with in the summer. 50% merino wool, 25% cotton, 15% linen, and 10% silk, it's lightweight, drapey, and soft and perfect for shawls and sweaters.

Another week, another 2 projects to choose between for Berroco's project of the week! Is there a baby joining the world for whom you would like to knit? Then this is your week!

Both of these kits are designed by the inimitable Norah Gaughan and are projects contained in "Comfort Knitting & Crochet: Babies & Toddlers" and you receive a free copy of the entire book with your order!

"Solaria" is a circular blanket knit using 6 skeins of bulky weight Berroco Comfort Chunky on a US size 10.5 needle. There are so many colors to choose from!

Back with some distractions, some resources, and some yarn world news.

A little over a week ago, Kay Gardiner and Ann Shayne of Mason Dixon Knitting changed their company name. Now Modern Daily Knitting, they wrote a short blog about the change here.

Have you seen Ravelry's new look?

Take a peaceful YouTube break.
Cute lambs, spinning, dyeing, weaving, crochet! What more could you ask for? (Thanks to Paige for sharing!)
Navajo weaver Clara Sherman carding and spinning
An interview with Mary Ellen Joe, a Cowichan Knitter
(Thanks to Leslie Wind for sharing those last two)

Gaye Glasspie of @GGMadeIt fame is asking all of us to #standinthegap. Don't know what that means? Take a look at her YouTube video here and her June 2nd post/IGTV on Instagram.

Collecting all of these for every week can be a challenge! If you see something you think our email readers might enjoy, please feel free to send it along to us so we can share it.

We always value your friendships, support, and business, especially during this difficult time. We look forward to when we can all be at the shop together again.

Anything we can do to keep your hands busy, your mind quiet, and your heart full... we're here for you.
