Looking Good!
[NB: Unless otherwise specified, yarn links/images will take you to our website and pattern links/images will take you to Ravelry.]

The shop always looks so great after we've completed our year end inventory... showroom great.

Everything has been counted, the shelves are all organized, and we've had a chance to refresh our samples and displays.

We're sorry you can't all see it in person right now but we'll do our best to keep it tidy until you can all join us in person again.

A wee reminder that the shop remains closed for in-person shopping at this time but we are always open on-line!

Someone is at the shop Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 11am - 2pm to answer emails, return phone calls, ship orders, and manage contact-less pickups so if you need anything, please, don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Here's one of our new displays!

We've cleared some room in front of the windows to be able to show off more yarn! Right now, we're featuring KPPPM by Koigu with all of the wonderful Collector's Club colors and Pencil Boxes we have from them.

Looking for ideas of what to make?

Grab a single skein and any of these patterns and you're good to go...

Left to right, top to bottom: Turkish Bed Socks (always a great option!), Easy Peasy Newborn Sock Hat, Freemans Alley Mitts (knit in one skein or choose 3 colors and stripe/fade them), Pretty Thing, Mini-Sock Yarn Bunny

Want to use more than one color?
Socks, shawls, sweaters, the options abound...

Left to right, top to bottom: The Crown Wools (that's Tracy's in the photo above and on the shop mannequin), Rose City Rollers, Colourscape Cowl (great for a Koigu Pencil Box too!), Koigu Linen Stitch Scarf, Love Note

Freshly arrived...

New designs of embroidered project bags from Wuthering Sheep! We restocked on the popular "Sock Sack" size (above left) and also added on a few of the Medium and Large size bags as well (above right - for those of you who like bigger projects and/or bags). The new designs are all available online and we only have one of each so, if you see one you love, make sure you snag it quick!

Don't follow us on social media? Then you missed this fantastic cowl!

Tracy knit up this "Hide n Peek Snood" in Cardiff Cashmere Classic, a DK weight yarn.

It's nearly the perfect cowl - easy to put on but small enough to lay close to your neck, long enough to cover from your nose to your collarbone, and - did we mention? - it has ear loops to help it stay up over your face on blustery days. It's certainly not a substitute for a proper, COVID-era face covering, but it fits easily over one of those too so you can stay super cozy on your next walk on the beach, through the woods, or just down the block.

Tracy's of the opinion that everyone should have at least half a dozen of them and plans to make several more herself. To make it easy for you to make your own, we've made up some kits! Each contains 2 balls of Cardiff Cashmere Classic and a copy of the pattern. Add your own needles (16" US sizes 5 & 6) and you'll have your own finished in no time!

Inventory time always gives us an excuse to do some deep cleaning too. While we were working away, we found some yarns that have been hiding out in the back and need new homes. We've added them to our sale section. Go take a look and adopt a skein today!
