Kyodai means “brothers” in Japanese and that’s a good clue for guessing who`s behind these two headswho are additionally known under a variety of different names! A duo that gained respect from musical heavy weights like Lauren Garnier, Masters At Work, Jimpster, Gilles Peterson, Rainer Trüby, who regularly release under their many guises for labels such as Compost, Odori, Om & Lovemonk. Kyodai's “Mi Rumba EP” surely impressed much more as they went on to release a follow up EP for Mad Mats blossoming Local Talk label with the “Breaking EP”, supported by the A listers until reaching the top list of the Gilles Peterson’s “An All Winners Show”, and to be part of the GTA V soundtrack. Nice! Woobar #sunday #recommended.

Need we say more when Cirez D aka Eric Prydz puts out some techno under his darker guise? Yes lots more! 2 equally dark journeys each weaving their own paths thats undeniably only capable of being mapped out by the master of all things behind the Mouseville imprint. With his last release writing a more futuristic statement the latest double A side offering has a feel of the original early releases from Cirez D and for the diehard Cirez D fans im sure those old dancefloor moments are all coming backt to life especially when ' The Tournament' begins to do its rounds. 'Backlash' the title track is more on anticipated journey that creates a smoke and mirrors like effect leading up and out of the break and exactly when everything makes sense with the drop this is serious music for the even the most stricted of techno enthusiasts. DRW 11/10.

Easily the most creative album to hit the world wide web courtesy of the legendary Phil Kieren & a true tribute to what defines 'electronica' in 2016. While most would know Phil for his late night techno workouts this album really expresses his more creative side with a very diverse package from lullaby flavoured soundscapes to melodic deep house journeys and much more this is truly a listening masterpiece. "I wanted to capture something very real and raw. Something similar to the feeling you get at the end of the night, and jumping in a car from one after party to another driving through London or New York & then the music comes on the car stereo. It has your attention” It sure does! . #listen 10/10 DRW
Growing up in Berlin in the late 80s, Milton Bradley’s first contact with the electronic side of music was acid house, and along with it the love for early Belgian techno evolved. He soon started collecting records and DJing, but it wasn’t until 2008 that he decided to put out music of his own. “Do Not Resist the Beat!” was born, a label essential for Bradley’s honest and clearly defined approach to producing. With the attempt to capture personal emotions and specific moments of his life, the German producer quickly developed his own distinctive and gripping sound.  Next week see's Asian based techno innovators bring the noise to the Koh and its one Saturday night showdown not to miss!
Sweet like chocolate but Murdering all dancefloors that dare to cross her path Lady Bee is the real deal. With releases on Diplo's Mad Decent, Laidback Luke's Mixmash & Steve Aoki's Dim Mak and lastly but not least her Loffitconcept, this girl is crushing it seriously! After 10 successful years as an MC, Lady Bee (Bianca Latupapua) knows how to hype up the crowd and now she is torching subwoofers at each club stop. Not just with her energetic & powerful voice, but with her unique combination of house, urban & dubstep beats. Her love for becoming a DJ grew in 2002. So Bee bought herself turntables and that’s when her love and passion for music became went into another dimension and the rest is just a part of history.
DJ and producer Tom Swoon has been making his mark in the electronic dance scene for over 3 years by now. Poland’s answer to all things dance music has entered the DJ MAG Top 100 at Number 46 for the very first time in 2015 after a string of consistent releases and high-profile remixes.Dedication burns strong as the music flows, so it isn’t surprising Tom Swoon has a lot of killer productions on his name. Releases such as ‘Ghost' on Nicky Romero's Protocol Recordings, 'Wait’ on Spinnin' Records and the anthemic 'Ahead Of Us' on Ultra Music, all ended up in the top charts of Beatport and received the heavyweight support from the a-list acts as well as quality play-listing on the mainstream radio stations.
The Mangrooves, a local Bali-based reggae and ska band is no longer a stranger to the Indonesian music scene, receiving two nominations for their debut EP release titled “Live EP” from the prestigious AMI (“AnugerahMusik Indonesia”) Indonesian music awards, held on September 28 at Econvention, Ancol, Jakarta. “Best Reggae/Ska/Rocksteady Single” for their debut single “All in Your Mind”;  “Best Album Design” designed by UK artist, Marina Renee Cemmick. The Mangrooves celebrated their astonishing double-nomination as the only indie band in the 2016 AMI Awards with English lyrics, amongst huge name acts in the Indonesian music scene who were also nominated, including IwanFals, Slank, Raisa, Afgan, Jamrud, Noah and Barasuara.
If you go to festivals or out clubbing with any regularity, you’re likely all too familiar with the high-pitched ringing that can linger in your ears for days afterwards. The condition, medically known as tinnitus, can be a real problem, with the ringing reaching problematic levels while coming hand in hand with significant hearing loss. Some of us––particularly those with a tendency to get as close to the speakers as possible––will suffer from it for the rest of our lives. That is, unless Sonormed have something to do with it. Their new app is called Tinnitracks, and they claim it can restore an equilibrium in your hearing to reduce discomfort caused by tinnitus. Tinnitracks uses software that allegedly targets the brain instead of the ear to lessen the negative effects of tinnitus.
