IYNF prepares for "D-e-zign it!"


In the first weekend of September, members of the IYNF team and SPPMD, met in Mihajlovo, in south of Macedonia to start planning our upcoming international activity “D-e-zign it!”, and event that marks the closing of the IYNF’s Year of E-Participation. A breathtaking scenery that surrounds Mihajlovo and the hospitality and kindness of the locals, helped to ensure a productive meeting. We now look forward to October, where over 30 representatives of the IYNF network as well as new organizations, will meet to network and plan projects together.

After Brexit: Green 10 concerns on sustainability

Ahead of an informal EU summit in Bratislava Green 10 addressed an Open Letter to decision makers of Brexit development. The letter identifies the priorities for making the Europe more eco-friendly. The global challenges of climate change, the protection of peoples health, the depletion of natural resources and the collapse of ecosystems are only few of the many matters tackled. Behind the several proposes one common aim: make the Europe a “Greener” place.


 

NFI: Fair travelling blog competition

Naturefriends International (NFI) is promoting an open contest about fair travelling, with many prizes for the best blog entries. A jury consisting of experts from NFI and the tourism sector will select the most interesting submissions, which will then be published on "tourism_LOG", NFI's platform for a critical approach toward tourism. Participants can submit articles and pictures until the September 30th. Find more here.
