A Message from Pikes Peak Marathon
Dearest runners and friends,
We are watching and evaluating the COVID-19 impact regarding our four races. None of the races are cancelled at this time.
We remain hard at work for our runners by taking the necessary steps to ensure we continue to provide the best customer service possible during this time of uncertainty. Our physical office locations will be closed until further notice, but we can be reached by email and social media channels.
We recognize that this is a challenging and unprecedented time. We would like to let you know that we remain deeply committed to the safety of our runners, volunteers, and staff, as well as to our communities.
Together, we have persevered through severe storms, fires, and floods, and we are humbled by your trust and loyalty in us through it all.
The Pikes Peak Marathon was founded to support living a healthy lifestyle and continues to do so after 64 years. And as native Coloradans and as a local business, our primary concern is the health and safety of the community. As always, our priorities are the participants, volunteers, spectators, sponsors, partners, and exhibitors that make this event so special.
We are also saddened by what we know is a hard time for other local business owners who usually operate on small margins. Please consider supporting them during this time by grabbing a to-go order from your favorite restaurant or buying a gift certificate from your favorite spa, coffee shop, movie theater, etc. and plan on using it when things improve.
For those runners with pending qualifications for our Pikes Peak events in August, stay tuned for more information. We will be contacting each of you shortly with details.
Live to run,
President, Pikes Peak Marathon, Inc.
