Deep home retrofits are required in order to achieve net-zero emissions by 2030 in the Halton community, and they have the capacity to enhance home comfort and reduce home energy costs.
This past year, Halton Environmental Network completed a feasibility study that explored the role of social purpose organizations in helping to advance deep home energy retrofits in the Halton community. This study provides an enhanced understanding of what it will take to accelerate building upgrades and retrofits to make our community more resilient to climate change.
