!! 👀 CENSUS GIVEAWAYS ALERT 👀 !!

$100 BI-RITE SWEEPSTAKES + 'COME TO YOUR CENSUS' TOTE
+ LEVI'S T-SHIRT + 'OUR VOICES MATTER' FACEMASK

Would you like to be entered to win a $100 Bi-Rite gift card good for use at Bi-Rite Markets or Bi-Rite Creamery (yum, yum, ice cream!!)???

Would you like to rock a limited edition fill-in-the-blank 'Come To Your Census , ______.' Tote Bag, Levi's 'Come To Your Census, S.F.' T-Shirt, or 'Our Voices Matter' Facemask??

Completing the 2020 Census isn’t just about determining the number of representatives each state gets in Congress, it’s how the government decides how much federal funding should be allocated in YOUR community—including food security programs like SNAP, WIC, and the National School Lunch Program, among many others. That means filling out the Census will directly impact food security and bring much needed funds ($20,000 per person who fills it out!!) to those who need it most. That's why Art+Action Coalition Partner, Bi-Rite is offering entry into a $100 sweepstakes before the Census ends on September 30. In addition, Art+Action is continuing to offer our 'Come To Your Census' totebags, t-shirts from our Coalition Partner Levi's, and new 'Our Voices Matter' facemask to anyone who completes their Census before September 30.

HOW TO WIN

  1. Fill out the confidential 9-question Census at my2020census.gov or by calling 844-330-2020
  2. Send proof you filled out your 2020 Census (and your mailing address) by September 30 to hello@artandaction.us or via DM @artandaction.us
  3. Art+Action will send you your Census tote, t-shirt, or facemask and automatically enter you into the Bi-Rite sweepstakes. Only one winner will be selected for the Bi-Rite gift certificate, but everyone who fills out their #2020Census is a winner because you’re helping bring federal 💸💸💸 and political 💪🏿💪🏽💪🏼 to your community!

Create your very own ‘Come To Your Census’ PSA or get community influencers you know to do so! Check out artist Raf Salazar’s PSA script here or check out other language, including how responding to the Census is a form of activism and resistance. Remember, 60 seconds is the maximum length to post a static video on IG. Feel free to condense the script to make this possible for you. Be scrappy! Laptop or cellphone recording is absolutely okay. Watch examples from our artists + trusted community messengers: Maria Paz (English, Spanish), Yessica Prado (English, Spanish), Raf Salazar (English), and Luisa Antonio (Tagalog)

Download our MONEY + POWER posters, featuring artwork by Brian Singer + Stephanie Syjuco, and put them up in your neighborhood grocery stores, bodegas, food banks, laundromats, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, liquor stores, and on community + school bulletin boards, walls, storefront windows (boarded up or as is) to inspire your community to claim their fair share before the 2020 Census ends on September 30. DOWNLOAD BRIAN SINGER'S $20,000 CENSUS BILL POSTER HERE.
