TAX DAY GOT YOU DOWN?
2020 CENSUS: YOUR ONCE-A-DECADE $20,000 OPPORTUNITY
Each year on Tax Day—this year, July 15—you give the U.S. government your money. Once every 10 years, citizens and non-citizens alike have the opportunity to take that money back for your community! When you complete your 2020 Census, you direct $20,000 ($2,000 a year for the next ten years) of federal funding to your community for schools, affordable housing, hospitals, healthcare, food assistance, child care, public transportation, parks, road repair, programs for seniors and veterans with disabilities, essential emergency services, first responders, and more.
By participating in the 2020 Census—a simple civic action that takes 10 minutes to do online or by phone (1-844-330-2020)—you also ensure your community receives fair political representation in the electoral college and more.
Art+Action commissioned artist Brian Singer to create this $20,000 Census bill to represent the amount of federal funds you direct to your city when you complete your 2020 Census. Claim what's yours. COME TO YOUR CENSUS, and get your fair share.

Every year on #TaxDay we send $$$ to the U.S. Government. Only once every 10 years do we get a chance to take that #$$$ back. Fill out your #2020Census and direct $20,000 (for real!) to your community. For each person—citizen or not—that fills out the 9-question survey online at my2020Census.gov or via phone at 1-844-330-2020, $20,000 of federal funding is sent to your city for hospitals, clinics, affordable housing, food assistance, schools, child care, libraries, parks, public transportation, roads, essential emergency services, first responders, and more. Don't miss your opportunity to claim your fair share. It's time to #ComeToYourCensus.
