Reconstruction of the
Toney Penna Drive and Old Dixie Highway intersection is planned to begin February 28, 2017.

The project involves Old Dixie from 8th Street to about 500 feet south of Toney Penna Drive, and Toney Penna from Alternate A1A to Orange Avenue.  The work is expected to take about seven (7) months.  The work calls for roadway widening on Toney Penna Drive, sidewalk construction across FEC railroad tracks, a new traffic signal, directional medians, elevation changes to intersection, drainage work, utility relocation, and other related improvements.  Traffic and businesses are expected to be impacted, especially at the southwest corner of the intersection.
