Spring Membership Count Date

The second membership count date for the 2019-2020 school year is February 3, 2020. This is a required count for all public school corporations and charter schools. The data will be used to calculate January to June Basic Grant funds. Specific information regarding the layout can be found at the following link:

February is Indiana Digital Learning Month
Indiana Digital Learning Month 2020 offers many opportunities throughout February to learn about strengthening student learning experiences with the effective use of technology in instructional practices. This is an opportunity for educators to share their digital learning stories. Visit the Digital Learning Day website and register your local events. Check out Indiana Digital Learning Month events here.  

Cohort Four RFP Available

The Indiana Department of Education is pleased to announce the release of the Cohort Four Charter School Program RPF.

Applications are due July 31, 2020 at 12:30 p.m.

Data Coaching Available

The Office of Title Grants and Support is offering free data coaching to LEAs in need of assistance with collecting, analyzing, and visualizing their data.

This type of support includes workshops, professional development activities, resource development, and other types of services.

Website is Live

The Title Con 20/20 website went live on Friday, December 20, 2019. The website is the place to find the most up-to-date information on the pre-conference workshops, conference, keynote speakers, and so much more. 

Registration is Open

All registrations will be done via EventBrite for the first time. You may request up to five registrations at a time. Once registered, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with your ticket. You will need to save, flag or print your ticket as you will need access to the QR code on the ticket when you check in at Title Con 20/20.

ILEARN - Deadlines and Reminders

Ordering Spring 2020 ILEARN and I AM Paper Materials

Schools must report any paper accommodations via the DOE-TA, Indiana IEP (IIEP), and/or Indiana ILP by January 30 to generate an initial order shipment of paper materials ahead of the Spring 2020 ILEARN 3-8 and ECA test windows. Schools requesting paper tests for students with accommodations after this date must do so during the additional orders window for the appropriate assessment. Contact the Indiana Assessment Help Desk with any questions ( or 866-298-4256).

Winter and Spring 2020 ILEARN Rescore Request Process

Please check with your school test coordinator for details about the 2019-2020 ILEARN Rescore Request Process, including how it will be managed at your school.

Spring 2020 ILEARN Indiana Educator Opportunity: Window Now Open

Indiana educators interested in scoring open-ended ILEARN items may apply through March 16. This updated flyer includes links to the online application and the new Indiana Educator Scoring Frequently Asked Questions resource. Please contact the AIR Indiana Helpdesk with any questions.

PATINS Tech Expo 2020

Learn about accessibility and technology supports for all students and families. Open to all interested Indiana administrators, teachers, family members, students, and pre-service/grad studentsPlease register for a ticket so they may provide an accurate count for lunch and any dietary/disability-related accommodations.

Results Driven Accountability (RDA) Planning Tools Released

As Indiana enters the second year of RDA, the Indiana Department of Education's Office of Special Education (OSE) has begun using a new tool in order to assist local education agencies (LEAs) with findings of noncompliance and to address systematic change in order to improve results for students. RDA Planning Tools are due not later than Friday, February 21.
