Veronica* is 4. She believes that she is the fastest runner in her neighborhood, that when she grows up, she will be a superhero, and that Santa will bring her a Wonder Woman action figure for Christmas. She believes that her mom is the bravest person in the world. Veronica and her family receive home visiting services from ChildServ’s Early Childhood programs.
Like Veronica, we at ChildServ believe in many things.
We believe that Veronica—and all children—deserve the same opportunity to achieve their full potential.
We believe that children growing up in poverty should have the same chance at academic success as kids living in households with more wealth.
We believe that no child…no woman…no human…should ever be abused or assaulted.
We believe that children and families who have undergone trauma should have access to therapy to help them heal.
We are blessed to begin each workday turning these beliefs into reality—through early childhood development programs, empowerment programs for mothers, therapy for families, safe housing and supports for children who have been abused or neglected, and apartments for formerly homeless youth. We could not do this work without our community of donors who believe in and support our vision, as well.
- 98% of the children in our programs were on-track for kindergarten after receiving our curriculum.
- 100% of our group home teens who were eligible to graduate high school did so on time.
- At the close of last fiscal year, 100% of the children in our home visiting programs had received immunizations to protect them from illness and disease.
This holiday season, I am grateful for your partnership. I ask you to continue living your beliefs by making a financial gift to ChildServ today.
Every dollar helps children like Veronica, and mothers like Veronica’s.
Wishing you all the best,
President & CEO
