Dan Speaks to Elgin's Community Service Organizations

This month, our President and CEO Dan Kotowski spoke at weekly meetings of both the Elgin Kiwanis Club and the Rotary Club of Elgin, informing each of the great work that our 0-3 early childhood program does for the more than 160 children and families we serve in Elgin.

We appreciate the organizations’ invitations and look forward to working with them to help children and families in Elgin to achieve their potential.

CNH Industrial Day of Service

On September 16, 15 volunteers from CNH Industrial – facilitated by the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago – spent the day beautifying our Naperville group home, painting inside and out, cleaning the yard, building shelving and hanging artwork in the newly re-done activity room.

We appreciate their hard work, partnership and help in making sure the young adults in our care have a safe, beautiful home in which to live, learn and grow!

Hawk Touchdown for Kids Program

This fall, we are fortunate to be the recipients of the proceeds from the Maine South High School Hawks football team’s Hawk Touchdowns for Kids Program. The program will donate $1 (or more) for every touchdown scored this season to ChildServ, which will help the children and families in our care to achieve their potential.

The Hawks are 3-2 thus far and own a two-game winning streak. The current fundraising totals are $59 per touchdown and $1,425 in donations. We are can’t thank the Hawks enough for their support and wish them the best of luck on the remainder of the season!
