Year of Future Leaders

On January 12, 2017, ChildServ declared 2017 the “Year of Future Leaders”, challenging our community, corporate and faith partners to invest in the promise and well-being of our future leaders, ensuring a successful future for all children.
Our “Year of Future Leaders” includes 12 monthly campaigns, engaging the public in unique and exciting ways to support children who are at risk. The first is “My Resolution”: a social media campaign featuring short videos of people resolving to help children in 2017 to reach their potential.
Check out our President and CEO Dan Kotowski’s resolution, and you can follow along on our social media or website here.

For information about how you can help the future leaders in our care to reach their potential, contact us at or (773) 693-0300.
Children ages 5-13 in our Military Clinical Program recently participated in a basketball clinic hosted by Collins Academy High School and The Charity Stripe, learning various skills, such as dribbling, passing and shooting.

The kids had a blast working on the fundamentals of basketball and enjoyed the snacks provided by PepsiCo while parents in our program received resources, including books, educational information and community referrals, from Zero to Three and our early childhood learning program.
