Murray L. Bob Lecture
As we find ourselves in a deeply divided society, what we read and write, like our conversations, tend to follow certain categories and resonate only with those who share our stances. This only exacerbates our divides. What if writing for the sake of it could be a solution? In this lecture, we will see how encouraging people to write simply for the pleasure of writing by using common points of departure can help us mend our divides.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the Chautauqua Institution's Poetry Makerspace.
Learn more about the Makerspace here.
