Food Preservation Class
Tuesday, Nov. 8th | 5-7 pm

The Jamestown Public Market will be hosting a class on food preservation. Participants will learn basic food storage methods, including reducing food spoilage, maintaining nutritional value, texture, and flavor of foods, and preserving via freezing and canning.

There is no registration needed to attend this free event.
This class is funded by a grant from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.
Recycled Desk Organizer
Tuesday, Nov 15th | 5-7 pm

Join Deb Eck with Pearl City Clayhouse for this fun 
up-cycling project. Make and take home a desk organizer made from recycled materials.

Wellness for Teens
Monday, Nov. 7th | 4:30 - 6 pm

Join us for a relaxing evening where we discuss mindfulness, learn about Scandinavian wellness practices, and create vision boards to center our thoughts on our goals.

Ages 12-18
No registration required.
Light refreshments provided.
Murray L Bob Lecture
Thursday, Dec. 1st | 6-8 pm

This Year's Murray Bob Lecture will be given by Field and Fork Network's Co-Founder and Executive Director, Lisa French. She will discuss food insecurity in New York State and the various solutions her organization and others are doing to address the issue. 
 
Joining Lisa will be Jamestown Public Market Director Linnea Haskin,
 who will speak briefly on the impact Field and Fork programs, such as Double Up Food Bucks, have had on the Jamestown community.
