Great Reads:

Do you want your summer reading to enrich and empower you? Earlier I C Publishing releases this year include excellent insights on business culture in Kathleen Redmond’s fourth book (2nd in the La Maison du Parc series) called Communicating in a Character Culture with Tact, Integrity, and Courage in the Workplace, health and wellness in Jenn Pike’s Amazon bestselling new edition of The Simplicity Project, and more at the I C Bookstore!
Special note: A number of our titles are perfect for fundraising, especially for not-for-profits and charity organizations. For example, the first edition of Hearts Linked by Courage is an inspiring anthology touching on so many real-life stories including cancer recovery, life-threatening diagnosis, mental illness, abuse, and loss of a loved one—all of which most readers can relate to and be encouraged by. In My Silent Moments is a beautiful collection of prose from author, Nasima Z., a third time survivor of brain tumour surgery, now limited by the onset of multiple sclerosis.
Should you/your organization wish more info on volume pricing for this purpose, or even on creating your own edition of Hearts Linked by Courage, feel free to email us at, and we’d be happy to send you more info.

Sneak Peek of New I C Publishing Titles Due Out Later This Year:

Meaningful Work:

Touch a Heart Networks founded by Leanne Sexton, is a grassroots group committed to supporting those less fortunate, and often in dire need, right here in our own community. They work closely with local emergency housing, churches, NFPs, and individuals wanting to help where they can.

Out of tremendous loss and sadness, I C Publishing author, Anita Heidema, turns her attention to raising awareness about the Lewy Body form of Dementia her dear mother passed away from earlier this year. She is doing so, educating via social media, and donating a percentage of all her book sales (Vitality Knocks – Short Stories to Enrich Your Soul) to a foundation she created to honour her mom, called the Fenna Heidema Lewy Body Foundation. Further to this, through her personal grieving, she is in the process of creating a beautiful, heart-centred, healing mediation to help those who are dealing with grief in their own lives. We’ll keep you posted.

I C Wisdom:

As you continue on your personal or professional path, stretching beyond your comfort zone, gaining new insights and perspectives, we’ve added a new section to our newsletter called, I C Wisdom, to help you use what you’re learning . . . and grow.

Whether it’s telling your story, passing on your knowledge, guiding you in your relationships, or simply reminding you of the gifts and talents you already possess, I C Wisdom will be our added gift to you as a thank you for your time and interest in our work.

To begin now, we’ll recap a snippet of the first message in the Relationship Series we started earlier this year, focusing on the relationship we have with ourselves. In future issues we will explore relationship dynamics with loved ones, with colleagues, and with our community—including the importance each plays, and what we can do to make all of our relationships healthy and meaningful.

Relationship with Ourselves

If we are in constant flux and turmoil within our own minds, how logical is it to expect that we would not exude this energy outwardly and experience similar conflict with others?

Conversely, if we can manifest peace, calm, and resourcefulness from within, then it’s more likely that this too will permeate all or most areas of our life and work, including how well we coexist and engage with others.

The relationship we have with ourselves is, or at least it ought to be, ever-evolving. How do we support this? We commit to CANI, constant and never-ending improvement, an acronym Tony Robbins first coined. This doesn’t mean that everything has to be done on a large or public scale either. In fact, it’s often the culmination of the smallest efforts and deeds that make the biggest difference—and we need to remind ourselves of this … For example:

--Notice your inner dialogue? How’s it working for you? Are there things you could change about how you talk to yourself, or how you work through perceived problems?

--Who do you associate with most of the time? What do you read? How active are you? What self-care do you practice?

--Reflecting on the gifts and talents you possess, what gratitude or helping hand did you extend today?
