WESTPAC COMMUNITY GRANTS
NACC'S REGIONAL LANDCARE FACILITATOR (RLF) PROJECT
200 Westpac Foundation Community Grants, worth $10,000 each, will be awarded to local, grassroots not-for-profit organisations with big (or small) ideas that are providing educational opportunities, employment pathways or improvements in the quality of life of disadvantaged Australians in our local communities.

Small grants are available for community groups across the NAR to assist them in running capacity building activities that will engage our people in Landcare and NRM activities.
There is two categories of funding available for groups to apply:
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR NOT FOR PROFIT GROUPS
- Funding to run activities or events that will lead to sustainable agriculture and biodiversity outcomes e.g. workshop/field day/ bus tour on soil health, biodiversity protection, wetland and riparian protection, etc. Groups can apply for funding of up to $1,000 to assist them deliver these outcomes. Training on rural leadership including women & youth will be considered on initial discussion with the RLF.
- Funding to help our community groups tackle the threats of feral animals in the region’s landscape e.g. red card for rabbits and foxes and any feral animal control event. Groups can apply for funding of up to $750 to assist them with the cost of running the red card for rabbits and foxes or any feral animal control.
