Save the date for our virtual Winter Musicale: Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. online
Our 41st Season Winter MusicaleConcert features music by Baroque luminaries, and by two “dark horse” Neapolitan composers: a recorder concerto by Francesco Mancini (1672-1737), and a violin duo by composer-violinist Emanuele Barbella (1718-1777). Elizabeth Blumenstock will be joined on stage—socially-distanced—in this pre-recorded performance from St. Michael & All Angels Church, Corona del Mar, by oboe and recorder player Stephen Hammer, violinist Andrew McIntosh, cellist Leif Woodward, and harpsichordist Ian Pritchard. More details to follow, meanwhile you can read about the performers at our Featured Artists page.
