Save the date for our virtual Winter Musicale annual fundraiser: Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. online*
Our 41st Season Winter MusicaleConcert will feature music by Baroque luminaries, and by two “dark horse” Neapolitan composers: a recorder concerto by Francesco Mancini (1672-1737), and a violin duo by 18th-century composer-violinist Emanuele Barbella (pictured in blue in the painting above). Elizabeth Blumenstock will be joined on stage—socially-distanced—in this pre-recorded performance from St. Michael & All Angels Church, Corona del Mar, by oboe and recorder player Stephen Hammer, violinist Andrew McIntosh, cellist Leif Woodward, and harpsichordist Ian Pritchard. Read about the performers at our Featured Artists page. Invitations for the Winter Musicale will be sent by email in the new year.
June 2021 underwriting opportunities are already available at our website Support page, with full details of June's musicians and music to be revealed by Elizabeth during the Winter Musicale.
*Please note that the date of our virtual Winter Musicale is subject to change. Our performers will record the concert when lockdown is lifted in Orange County and it is therefore allowable. We are following local and state guidelines carefully at this time.
Consider a year-end donation
