Catch up with the Class of 2020
The "Best Class of 2020" has been quite busy since the holiday break.
JANUARY - MID YEAR RETREAT
January saw the class reconnect for their Mid-Year Retreat at Sprenger Health Care Towne Center Community Campus in Avon Lake. The day included several programs focused on development and growth, including: StrengthsFinders 2.0, developing their communication through team building challenges, and some healthy competition at Spevock's Nautical Bowling.
2020 also selected their community projects including support of: Blessing House's Be Part of the Heart Capital Campaign as the recipient of this year's Strides for Leadership 5K and Fun Walk, as well as creating a new event Pasta with a Purpose, to raise funds and awareness towards their campaign; LIFT, a program seeking NEW backpacks and luggage for displaced youth in Lorain County; and working with LLC to get Teaching Lorain County, a program created by the "Best Class of 2019," to fill the inaugural Class of 2021 with a class of 20 High School Students from around Lorain County. Be sure to check our Facebook page for continuing developments on these projects.
