Class of 2020's Overnight Retreat
The "Best Class of 2020" met early this month for their Overnight Retreat, they spent time building the foundation for their year with LLC.
The Hotel at Oberlin was the setting and we were ecstatic to welcome back some outstanding Alumni who shared their wisdom with the class. Gail Stumphauzer '95 and Bill Harper '04 met with the class to share their knowledge of the history of LLC and its benefits. They gave an overview on leadership principles. Renee Barrett '17, stopped by to discuss some great time and stress management techniques. During dinner the class engaged members of the LLC Board and Alumni; they closed out the night with Ed Boas for some drumming fun and team building.
On Friday the class was joined by Marilee MacAskill from the Dale Carnegie Institute, she helped them tackle some tools for networking. Common Ground was the final stop for the group where they were led by Lydia Lee '13 for some team building exercises. The group has certainly embraced their True Colors, formed some goals for the year, and are beginning to work as a team!
