Spring has sprung! So much going on this time of year at LLC. Connect with us and catch all the news as well as updates surrounding our programming, member activities, events and this year's Signature Class.
Health & Wellness Session Day
The class started their day at the Oberlin Depot for a Champions of Leadership Presentation featuring Stephanie Weirsma, President & CEO of Lorain County Health & Dentistry. Following a tour of the Oberlin Health & Dentistry Facility the class was joined by 2017 alum, Clare Rosser, of the Lorain County Board of Mental Health, for a QPR training and certification (Question Persuade Refer for Suicide Prevention).

A break after lunch left time for the class to enjoy the sunshine and walk the bike trails by the Train Depot before heading to the Fitness Center at UH Avon Health Care. A Nutrition and Portion Control presentation, a tour of the UH Fitness facility and some homework review helped round out the afternoon before the final presentation reminding all that laughter really is the best medicine as class member Jake Kucbel introduced comedian Bob Slatt.

We had a wonderful turn out for our first Leadership Challenge Workshop, facilitated by Roxanne Kaufman Elliott '12. We are excited to say be sure to Save the Date for March 24th and 25th of 2020 when we will offer our next Leadership Challenge Event.
