CFWA Hospital Care Packs at PCH

Unfortunately, CFWA are no longer able to visit you at Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) unless you specifically request us to. This is due to legalities over privacy and confidentiality. We will continue to provide our much-loved hospital bags; however, these will now be delivered by one of the PCH respiratory team members. If you haven’t received a bag or would like something different in your bag, please let us know so we can organise it for you.

We would still love to visit you so if you would like to catch up, please let us know and we can arrange a visit. We hope to see you soon. For more information or to organise a visit get in touch with Sharon at or on 08 6457 7333.

Flu Season with CF

The 2019 flu season has arrived much earlier than usual and has been very severe according to the WA Health Department.

Vaccination offers the best protection against influenza and we encourage people with CF, their family, and close friends to get immunised. The more people who are immunised against the flu, the more protection is offered for those in our community who are unable to be immunised.

You or your child may be eligible for a free flu vaccination, contact your CF clinic at PCH or SCGH, or visit your GP to find out. For more information on the flu, see our Flu Fact Sheet.
