New Faces at the Chamber
by Jon Leamon, Chamber Deputy CEO

We are very aware of the need to be able to offer more business benefits to our members. Our future plans include the development of a full range of services which will enhance your membership package and give you even better value for your annual membership fee. To help us deliver this work we have added four new Executives to our team. They were all voted in at the recent Chamber AGM.

Vicky Muller (above right), Your Local App Cheltenham, will be helping us with our website and marketing support for our members. Kevin Daws (right), Pitman Training, will be helping us with our press releases, sponsorship packages, and managing our social media communications.

JoAnne Fairchild (right), Belena Ltd, will be helping us by setting up a range of business seminars and clinics, as well as a work station facility for our members. Daniel Boden (below), English Mutual, will be responsible for Chamber membership.

These additional “pairs of hands” will allow the rest of the team to work on other projects for the benefit of our members. Each year your Chamber becomes stronger as we continue to grow, and we will offer you more. We will keep you informed of our progress throughout the coming months.

The Chamber also elected a new President, Martin Quantock, Town Centre Manager and Head of the Cheltenham Business Partnership (right: Jon Leamon, Deputy Chamber CEO, Martin Quantock, and Michael Ratcliffe, Chamber CEO). We would like to thank the outstanding contribution of Jon Whitbread, Partner at Harrison Clark Rickerbys, who has been Chamber President the past two years. Jon will continue to represent our Chamber and the town on the Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). (picture, Brian Chaplin, EuroVideo)

We thank Edward Gillespie (right),  former Managing Director of Cheltenham Racecourse, for his excellent talk at the AGM on the history of the racecourse and its development over the past two hundred years. We'd also like to congratulate Brewin Dolphin for winning the The Everyman Cup, given for outstanding business sponsorship to the EverymanTheatre. (Below rightGeoffrey Rowe, Managing Director of the Everyman Theatre, presents the cup to Paul Nurden, Brewin Dolphin)

We look forward to another great year in supporting you, our members.
