Become a mentor
January 2016 celebrates National Mentoring Month. The City of Falls Church is urging the community to educate themselves about mentoring and how you can become a mentor. Within the City’s 2.2 square miles, there are two mentoring programs: ISE (Respect, Integrity, Self Esteem, Encouragement) and 1-2-1 Mentoring. Want to make a difference in your community?  Start with making a difference in one life. Serve on boards and commissions

Help the homeless
You can also help the homeless in the community. Do you know what to do if you see someone who is unsheltered and at risk of hypothermia? if you are concerned someone in the City of Falls Church could be sleeping out in the cold, especially in severe weather, please contact the Police Department non-emergency number at 703-241-5050 (TTY 711) after business hours and on weekends.
