Provides administrative and logistical support for Natural Resource Program management activities. Participates in various administrative tasks including routine purchasing. Maintains inventory of equipment, monitors program equipment and tools. Performs administrative tasks, such as making copies, scanning, driving to complete mail runs and receive/pick up and verify deliveries, timesheet collection, and submission. Maintains staff training files including staff training database entry. Assists with meeting logistics and note taking. Conducts in and out-processing of staff. Facilitates communication program-wide. Serves as a back-up communication hub, which includes answering phones and functioning as a base radio dispatcher.

The Undergraduate Showcase highlights undergraduate research and creative work done at UH Mānoa and is open to all undergraduates conducting faculty-supervised academic work.
In order to provide an arena that celebrates undergraduate work while maintaining a safe social distance, the Showcase will take place synchronously online this semester using Zoom. All students will need to obtain permission from their mentor/advisor to present their work over a video conferencing platform.

Enjoy working in the outdoors? Every third Saturday (next one will be Saturday the 17th of September), volunteers meet at the Lyon arboretum's main parking lot at 8 AM. You will go over the history of Lyon and talk about the job. Volunteers are working to clear weeds to give Koa seedlings a fighting chance!
Volunteers need to bring: closed toed shoes, long sleeves/pants, a water bottle, and work gloves (extra gloves for those who need).
The section runs until 1130 am. At the end of the day, fruit or some useful plants are given to the volunteers, last time everybody got to have mangosteen!
