Happy Holidays Neighbors!
The cold weather is upon us. Are you prepared? Quite often homeowners make the mistake of not winterizing their home which can result in (costly) damages.
Take a look!
Another Abbington Turkey Trot is in the books. And what a great turnout it was! Our fun-loving, active community was able to get out and enjoy a nice morning, all while burning some calories. A win-win!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Jesse Rae Atkinson (and her family) for heading up this great event!

THANK YOU Marcel, Amy, and of course... MARYANN for putting up our holiday decorations.

The entrances look marvelous!

- 2.0 is about ready to launch! Please watch for an newly updated website to be live soon!

- Recently, one BOD member has resigned. This position will remain vacant through May, at which point the BOD will transition to operate with just 6 members. In May 2018, 2 BOD members will roll off. At that time, 1 BOD member position will be up for election and the BOD will consist of 5 members from that point forward.
- The BOD has approved a Reserve Study be conducted in early 2017, by an independent group. A Reserve Study is an in-depth evaluation of our physical assets and an analysis of of our reserve funds. It will detail anticipated replacements or repairs to common area items AND recommend annual reserve funding to cover capital expenditures for the next 10, 20, 30 years. At the conclusion of this study, the BOD will have a better understanding of the dollar amount that should be kept in reserves vs. the dollar amount that can be spent within the community. A plan to include short-term goals and long-term goals will be created, taking into account the feedback received from the community survey conducted last June and the community meeting held in October.
If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to reach out to the the Abbington Board directly:
