“God the Father is the Eternally Unmanifest, the Great Principle, the Absolute. The Son is Its Eternal Manifestation, the Universe, the Only Child ever begotten of God, coexistent, coequal, and coeternal with the Father. The Universe is the actual proof of the existence of God. The Holy Ghost is the Force of Life, of Intelligence, of Truth (Law), and of Love, eternally proceeding from the Father, the Great Principle, to the Son, the Universe, and returning from the Son to the Father.”

Happy New Year 2019 and always!
May you and your family have a happy and constructive year

2019 = 2 + 0 + 1 + 9 = 12/3

The energy of #12 indicates a pause or reversal.

If we are willing to pause, reflect and look deep to the heart of things then we will see that things are not what they appear to be on the surface. The #12 indicates that egotistic attitudes turn things upside down, yet things can work out if we flow in the force of quiet reflection and discernment this year.

Many of us have walled ourselves in with so much negative feelings in a #2 energy (2018) that it blocks positive feelings of love and affection, but the energy of #3 this year indicates it’s time to  release the past and move into constructive attitudes.

Our dreams may become reality in this #3 feminine, abundant energy, if we are willing to have positive, enthusiastic attitudes!

It can be a hard-won lesson, and things can get messy, but once we do let go of past attitudes that do not serve us then we can pursue joyful activities this year. Constructive realizations can shatter crystallized ideas and bring about fresh ideas and regeneration.

#3 epitomizes creative expression and wisdom.

Three is a feminine, creative energy with interaction between yin and yang. It is in response to years #1 and #2 energies combining and multiplying into manifestation.

If we have an optimistic outlook, 2019 can be very productive in diversified areas, of money, law, religion and communications.

It could mean financial growth. But remember, you can energize reversal by fighting, overindulging, extravagance, gossip, or deceit which could lead to losses. Procrastination and destructive actions can mean disaster. Take care to be more conservative and systematic.

We can create a world of increased kindness and respect this year and You can make a difference with individual initiatives of consideration, respect and kindness.

I remember a story about a Hindu man that went to a holy man asking for advice because had killed the father of a young Muslim boy. His heart was so torn up because he knew this boy had no one else in the world to raise him and he was devastated as to what to do. The holy man said that he must raise the boy as his own with all the Love a Father would give a son! And that he must raise him as a Muslim with all the respect he shows his own Hindu family! This is the way he could do right by the father he had killed and have True Peace in his Heart!

What a tremendous lesson of compassion, consideration, Love and Kindness for all of us!  In order to create happiness we must find Love and respect in our hearts and give it to others. I think of that today! And I ask why do we all feel that our religion, politics, likes and dislikes are worth loosing our Goodwill and Kindness to one another? Shouldn’t we think and look to our hearts before we speak, tweet, or post any kind of social media?

We are free to make any choice we want! And The Great Law always shows us a way to think better with an open Heart of Love and Kindness! Each one of us makes a difference!

Transforming yourself for Justice

My first instinct when facing injustice is to fight. Fight or flight. When we choose to fight, we should learn to fight without hatred. I have learned that the most courageous thing to do in the face of injustice is to fight for Harmony within yourself first - in this human reality. It’s a fight for rather than a fight against. Fear, self-righteousness and hate motivates fighting against.
Giving Healing Energy to the World

It is not enough to sympathetically hope the world will heal. Though we like to think the human intellect can find a way, it is the human mind that holds us in the prison and causes us to have problems. So what can we do? We can open to the tenderness of our heart and be a channel for Divine Love and Harmony, Universal Life Energy.

“You cannot save people, you can only love them.”

Anaïs Nin, 1903-1977
French-American diarist, essayist, novelist, and writer
“Never fear that you cannot do a certain thing, that you cannot bring out certain qualities from within you, that you cannot overcome obstacles on your path. Remember that all things are possible to a Power which governs the whole Universe and that you are the very embodiment of that Power. Latent within you are all those forces and qualities of yours. Your problem is to bring them out.”

Sometimes I feel down and my “get up and go” attitude seems to be taking a nap. I need to investigate what roadblocks I am creating in my life. What is out of balance in my life? Have I been neglecting my spiritual activities in life? Am I taking the time for the Star Exercise and Meditation? This is one of my favorite passages to remind me of my connection to Universal Life Energy. When I am feeling low it inspires me to begin again on the path to a successful life.
Each of us has an idea of what a successful life means. It could be a loving family, health and prosperity, a career. When we are missing a part of this idea, we can take the problem into the Silence and make our Mental Contact. By making our Mental Contact, we can be inspired with ideas for actions to take in the Now and the physical, mental and spiritual energy to carry them out. By reviewing the situation, we can see all aspects and build to success and happiness for all concerned.

What constructive action can I take today to build to success in my life?
"Mind is not produced from within the individual. On the contrary, the individual is produced by Mind. ... The actual mental self behind that physical expression is but a single ray from one common independent Source, a basic Power which is one of the Aspects of Universal Life Energy and which is called Universal Intelligence, or Infinite Mind."

Ah, Brussels Sprouts!

You've seen them in the produce department, those little green buds of goodness! Unfortunately many people only know Brussels Sprouts as a boiled, bitter, soggy side dish they were forced to eat as a child. Put that memory aside and try roasting them in the oven. Roasting brings out their subtle sweetness and flavor without the bitterness.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Vinegar & Honey

1.5 pounds of FRESH Brussels Sprouts (not frozen)
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Rinse Brussels sprouts in cold water and pat dry. Trim off the stem end, remove any loose or yellow leaves and slice in half lengthwise. Cut extra large Brussels sprouts into quarters. They should all be cut about the same size to ensure even cooking.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy clean up.

In a large bowl, gently toss the Brussels sprouts with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, kosher salt and pepper until coated thoroughly.

Transfer Brussels sprouts to the baking sheet and roast for approximately 20 minutes until tender and caramelized - stir/turn them occasionally to ensure even browning.

Place Brussels sprouts back in bowl. Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and honey, and toss to coat evenly. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve and enjoy!
"Rama, Zoroaster, Krishna, Lao-tse, Buddha, Jesus did not teach separate ways to reach rival Gods. They taught practically one and the same thing - how people might conduct their activities in accordance with certain unchanging Basic Truths, in such fashion as to live a healthier, happier, more normal and more successful life on Earth."
