The XLerator Network is partnering with Georgia Tech Venture Lab to offer their 
"Lean Launch Pad" Instructor Academy to individuals in the XLerator Network who are interested in being trained to coach researchers and entrepreneurs through our virtual and onsite programs.  These "Innovation Champions" associated with our partnering universities or their local and regional partners will learn from I-Corps regional and national coaches how to teach researchers/entrepreneurs to discern insights from their Customer Discovery interviews and validate their hypothesis regarding their business model.

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross today announced that 52 organizations (including nonprofits, institutions of higher education, and entrepreneurship-focused organizations) from 36 states will receive grants totaling $35 million to support entrepreneurship, acceleration of company growth, and increased access to risk capital.

in the SE IDeA states - Kentucky & Louisiana!

 
The recipient in Kentucky is the University of Kentucky Research Foundation (UKRF). The recipients in  Louisiana  are the Baton Rouge Health District and the New Orleans BioInnovation Center.
This 3-part webinar series provided insights for academic administrators to develop their Tech Transfer Offices (TTOs).
TTO Directors from the University of Mississippi (representing a small office), the University of Kentucky (representing a large office) and the Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust led the round table presentations and discussions  following the viewing of an AUTM video which showcased 4 additional TTO Directors from LA, NE, CA, and KS.
